    Oh, and nice table

    Exclamation

Haven't had time to drop in here lately as I was spending time with my elderly and ill mother. She died last Thursday and was cremated on Monday.

Now I'm back and I LOVE that table Claw!!

One problem - it has taken too much of that gorgeous timber to make it. Best pull it apart and send the spare bits to me!!

The grain in that timber is absolutely stunning. I've been wondering for a while what I'd make my writing desk from, when I get good enough to make it

    Now I know.

    Great work as always Claw!

Hi Boys and Girls (you know who is who)
Finished, gone, yet another happy customer. Delivered thismorning to Kirrawee in the we small hours of the morning (so didn't call in for a cupa Nick). Called and took another couple of measurements at Annandale and was back in Newcastle by 10.30. Did some work on thhe veggie garden and then rested up (have to now and then). Had my Mum over for Saturday Lunch so got in early there.
Last couple of pics of this one, rubbing back with 400 wet and dry with my cutting oil (30% linseed & 70% turps), then 0000 steelwool and cutting oil. Once I have delivered and set it up I then give them a wipe over with O'Cedar or F&W furniture oil and leave a coomplimentry bottle for the client.

    Ok on to Annandale

    Looks yummy enough to eat.

Tried tracking O'Cedar down today at Bunnies, no surprise that they don't stock it. I'll have to do a search with Mr Google.
