    Default book shelves and cupboards

This is by far my biggest project. It has been on the go for well over 8 months. There are still a few final finishing touches to be completed but as you can see the major job is done.

The whole unit is 5.2m x 2.4m and the cupboards are 550mm deep with the top 600mm x 30mm.

The bench top and the main carcass of the book case are made from 100x35mm Hoop pine. The shelves and the cupboards and doors are from 16mm melamine sheeting.

The complete unit is finished with three coats of 2 pack automotive enamel.

I am still to finish off the bulkheads over the shelves and the wall area between the shelves.
