Hello All,
Way back in April when i introduced myself in this thread
https://www.woodworkforums.com/f175/g...igo-vic-93471/ I was working on this chest of drawers/cd cabinet.
Well it's finally finished and went to it's new home today.
My photography skill need a lot of work, but here are some that

I like it Col. Nice job. It looks as though it would be nice to run one's fingers over it to enjoy that lovely feeling of smooth wood. Nice classy handles too.

Thanks Fencepost2,
I botched this post, put it up first with no pics
then got all flustered and forgot to write the rest.
So, the cabinet is about 80% recycled material,
from bed ends, a wardrobe, and old door on the
back, and various other bits and pieces.
the finish is a poly/oil mix with a wax finish
cheers.

Thanks Fellas,
Christos, yes it was about to leave, it was the first chance i had to get some photos in natural light, i couldn't get it out of the shed before
as it was so damn heavy.
Artme, I had plenty of time over the past 6 months to re-learn
what i had forgotten about woodworking, but the biggest lesson
was - start with something smaller if you've been out of the game
for a while.
thanks again,
col.
