Hi Nick, nothing really, dribbled a bit of PVA down there, its not level it's still a crack.

Good lookin' bit of TC there CH. Hope it really is red and not the amberish colour in the photo.

I know TC will turn that colour with continued exposure to the sun.

HI Guys, yes it does look like a sword Ray, hadn't seen that. It is only a light Cedar not the great red stuff. Mind you the fact that its light let the diversity of the grain come out in this piece I think. The fork "flame" on the right hand side is beautifull.

That could be a start, along with telling SWMBO that I can't possibly mow today - it might rain.

Not realy Christmas Ray, by nature I just love my food and if I don't make an effort to do some exercise I just keep working and working just doesn't wear it off.

Todays efforts, another coat on the benchtop, underside and topside. This one will have the dishwasher under it so I don't want it curling up with steam and water so I will give the underside an extra coat or two. The passover shelf is done and getting coats of finish and the frame is on the bench now and having joints cut. Again just lap joints, some glue and a screw.

I feel like I just take the same photos each time on the jobs, are there any shots of processes or tools etc that anyone would like to see. Post or PM me if you like.

Last photo on top the black cabinet is that a block of rock I see??

Yes, window/screen rubber wheelie tool. In this shot hidding behind the builders square. I have moved things a bit since this shot was taken but I will confirm with another shot tomorrow (after scuba dive).
