    Default Gotta love Spindle Moulders

This is a 2.7M Hampton Style mantle piece I made and installed just before Christmas. I have been waiting for the client to send me a photo with the stone work installed. The large cove, 30mm was done on my spindle moulder. The rest was done with either a router or by hand. The large bevel with a jig and milling bit in a hand router. Then by hand.
The guy that did the stone work was a qualified stone mason. He has done a fantastic job.

    Default Job well done

    Nice job done there Trev

It's nice to have routers however a spindle moulder also compliments your workshop.

The simplicity of the look compliments both trades, but gives no idea of the work involved.
    Well done

    Excellent work!!

I will bet it was very satisfying to do this job.

The drawing takes me back to high school and tech drawing, a subject I loved.
