Default Hairpin legs - can anyone recommend

    I’m after 4 3-rod hairpin legs.
720mm for standard height lightweight dining table.
Has anyone bought any lately that they can recommend. Quality is the thing - lots of rubbish out there.

    Cheers
    Arron

Yeah, seen it, but are they any good or do they just say they are good?

I guess if you contact them and find out where you can see them in Sydney you could satisfy yourself. I can certainly understand why you'd like a recommendation.

Go to ModCraftAustralia on etsy. Tim will look after you, he makes a range of legs in Tempe.

If places weren't any good, they wouldn't remain in business, is my understanding, as people wouldn't be buying rubbish, would they!!!!!

So therefore, to take your premise to its logical conclusion, everything for sale is good. I’m not sure that holds true.

Arron, we can't do the work for you!!! 'To take your premise to its logical conclusion' everything that anybody has used and thought was good, you would think was good too. Just saying.

I’m not expecting you to do my work for me and I don’t understand where that comment comes from. Im just asking if anyone had bought some hairpin legs and if they could speak from experience about them. Isn’t that a reasonable request to make of forum members?

I tried to frame my question so that people would understand that I want to hear responses from experience, naturally I had already googled extensively on the subject.

Default Hairpin legs - can anyone recommend

I don’t think there is anything wrong with what Arron is asking or how he has asked in right from the first post.

It’s easy enough to Google hairpin legs and find a supplier, but as with everything there is plenty of rubbish out there. The initial post was simply asking for recommendations of anybody who has purchased hairpin legs and was satisfied with the product.

It certainly will narrow down the field of potential respondents to those members who have indeed purchased hairpin legs recently and were in fact happy with the purchase. None of which have come forward yet.

Next best thing is to look for a local fabricator who deals through a market place that allows and supports customer feedback - such as the Etsy link. A good maker may even be able to point you in the direction of where their product has been used locally.
Now proudly sponsored by Binford Tools. Be sure to check out the Binford 6100 - available now at any good tool retailer.

I bought these https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/2338..._home_active_7 and i'm very happy with the quality, a little bigger than hairpin. Reading the reviews for the hairpin legs he supplies, which are great. All i can suggest is get in contact with Tim and go and see his product for yourself.
