    Default Ideas please

Looking for a few clues on making locking wooden drawer slides for the boat, have seen them before but never took much notice, any ideas or tips would be great.

Wooden drawer slides can be made with dovetails like this image.

To make them locking you could simple add a lock into the drawer front that went into the top of the carcass?
I'd be fairly hesitant to use wooden drawer runners on a boat though with moisture content varying a lot around the water and making them move and get stuck/loose. I'd be more inclined to stick with metal runners, and look to source stainless steel ones. Did you manage to come up with anything?
