Jarrah Dining Table - WIP
I started planning this table back in the early 1990's when I was out in the jungle cutting up this hollow Jarrah log for firewood when I realised I could put the timber to better use. So I slabbed the log and stored the timber. Around the same time (early 1990) I purchase the legs. The top dimentions are 2200mm x 1050mm.

Coming along nicely, the timber should be realy well seasoned. Are you putting more structure around the legs?

Great stuff Rod. That is one hefty table, and I love the pics. That fine red dust looks very familiar.
The time we enjoy wasting is not wasted time.

I have used them on floors (edges) but hadn't thought to use them on a table. Might look into that too.

Hi Rod,
A good size table. Like those legs. Shame that one has opened up on the glue line. Eager to see the finished table.
Cheers

The main activity this weekend was fitting and gluing slithers of Jarrah timber into the opened glue joints of the legs.
