Are your slides soft closing full extension? If you post the length I may be able to find the right product code for you. I'm stuck working late so small distractions are welcome!

Unfortunately I can't find the combination of push to open, undermount, and soft close - The King Slide model number for this type is 1A88. This is the closest at Wilson & Bradley - Wilson & Bradley
I have failed.

Not at all!
The part number I have given them is SC-88-400 which might refer to King Slides 1A88. I received my slides direct from Eurofit only a few weeks ago so they should still be current?
Thanks again for your help, I hope you get through the rest of your work day.

Contacted Wilson & Bradley and they do not stock the 1A88 model which has both the push to open and soft close features, from King Slide anyway. Their reply is below.
We do not stock a Kingslide runner that combines both of these functions. I have included a link below to our Tip-on Blumotion, which is our runner that has both of these functions built into one.

Thank you for following through with this Alk’. I have been on the phone to them myself today and was very fortunate to get a very enthusiastic staffer who firstly confirmed what you were told but then, as the product has actually been withdrawn from their range, went down to the warehouse to check and found a box of them!
As these will be the last ones in captivity, I have ordered more than I need for this job AND THE PRICE IS MUCH LOWER THAN EUROFIT!
Thanks again for the lead and your follow up!a rock is an obsolete tool ......... until you don’t have a hammer!

I’d had some trouble resawing wide panels of the red cedar for the doors so I had to be a bit ‘creative’ in making the panel doors. Rather than cutting a groove in the frames and ‘wasting’ the width of the panel by machining a tongue on the edge, I have inserted a plywood panel into the frame and will laminate the red cedar on to the plywood. This means that the panels can be 30 mm narrower than if I was going to have them rebated into the frame?

This WIP door is currently only held together by ‘friction and stiction’ but it shows how the door will look. The inside face shows the plywood and, right at the moment, Bunnings have some marine ply in stock with this rather attractive rose coloured grain. The ply has already been finished with Osmo Polyx RAW and has a lovely silky feel.

Alan, another way I've managed to use panels not wide enough for the frame is to use an applied moulding, as used on old doors, to hold the panel in. Unfortunately, that woudn't fit with your Arts & Crafts style, so I guess your current solution is the only alternative.
The moulding is inset on doors, but glued to the surface of the frame on the ubiquitous cedar sideboard/chiffoniers of the late 19th/early 20th centuries. There must be a simple trick to doing it, but I found it a tedious & fiddly chore, particularly fitting the rounded top corners:Panel detail.jpg
The 'chiffonier' from which this pic was taken has a coupe of little boxes just like the ones you made, hidden in the carcase, too!
Cheers,IW

The plane, the plane, the plane........
It’s hard to control the excitement here, the tiles have arrived
BD1EB0CC-67B5-466C-8407-9A34D6365875.jpg
Now to work out how and where to place them;
- buttressed ends (as above)?
- patterned tiles interposed with plain?
- some plain used as highlight panels on the main body?
Oh the joy!
It’s funny though, in a house full with people, I seem to be the only one excited?a rock is an obsolete tool ......... until you don’t have a hammer!
