Nest of pallet tables.
Made using untreated NZ pine pellets, melamine top with mitred edging. 2 coats of water bourne urethane vanish for the sides and 3 coats of non-toxic oil for the top edging. I claimed credit to this style of making tables only to discover it's been done many a time over the years, makes sense as it's very simple and sturdy. The school needed these tables for the school kitchen but due to funding (or the lack of) I had to come up with a way to keep them affordable. And yes I do understand the dangers of using pallets, these where untreated non-export grade. Thanks for looking.

They have come up really good. Great way to keep the cost down and use up some wasted wood, not to mention the help for the school.
We have received crates of machinery at work from NZ and they are only heat treated. I suppose it depends on where it is going as to what treatment they are given.Dallas
