Maybe come up with some images off google of exactly what you have in mind and then we may be able to point you in the right direction?

    Welcome to Furniture Making 101!!

This is the place to learn as there are plenty of WIPs here to guide you.

Just search for beds, or bed WIP.

I wonder how many can say where Brockelhurst is without using an atlas Whereis or Google !

    welcome

Best advice I can give you is find a copy of Jeff Miller's book on Beds
Beds : outstanding projects from one of America's best craftsmen
Published: Newtown, CT : Taunton Press, 1999.
    ISBN:
    9781561582549

Jeff covers everything you need to know and step by step guides you through making 9 different beds.

With what Jeff covers and here you should be able to make any sort of bed
    regards from Alberta, Canada

Welcome to the forum. I was one of those that needed to do a search for Brocklehurst.

When you are ready to start with the build you might want to consider doing a WIP(work in progress) and if you get stuck you can ask questions. Or if you so not want to do a WIP then that's still quite ok you can still ask questions, as the saying goes no such thing as a silly question.

Also well done on getting your first projects completed with the benches for the shed.
