    Default Progress Staircase

Did the stairs this afternoon temporarily put together to see if everything fits snugly. Should there here and there fiddling through a slot deeper to carve, but basically fits everything. Here some pictures. Go next week to removable guardrail work, and other banisters. So the work goes by pretty.
    Thanks for looking.

Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything, but they
bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs .

Sweet looking and simple - apparently simple.
I can see a lot of pencil-work went into this stair.
When you walk away, gratified, I'm sure folk will admire the 'simple' functionality.
I'm both dyslexic and paranoid. I keep thinking I'm following someone.

    Thumbs up

    Going well Ad.

No wonder you haven't been around much lately as that work will have taken up so much time.

Used normal pine for this stair, had planned to use yellow pine, you know that nice smelling wood, but this was very expensive, as there is a lack on this wood on the market.
    Thanks for your attention.

Arthur, I'm doing this for the renovated house for my youngest daughter Karin and her boyfriend Remco.
It's the biggest job I have undertaken since my retirement, it's all handwork, but I like it. Have to admit I miss my lathe work.
But giving my helping hand for my own kids is very satisfying.
    Thanks.
