I don't mind some of the Czech concoctions either - I'll keep the beer cafe in mind, thanks

No way, keep filling it till you can get it flat with the rest of the top. You'll regret it later if you don't do it now.

    Default resin

Iwas afraid you would say thatSteve mc32.I will try to build a border a round deficient bit&pour the tiniest bit. It flows fairly slow so heres hoping.I just dont want to sand above lures etc & get hazy finish.

Why don't you do a small trial pour into a paper cup or something like that and once it's cured start sanding away and see how far you have to go before you're happy with the finish. As I said before, you can go all the way up to 12000 grit and get a perfectly polished face if you want to.

    Default resin final

Im a bit sick of dust,& Ive only got to 240Mt slab gets sun on it in morning because its on verandah so it loses a bit of colour. Sooner I get FW floor seal on it the better. Wife has promised to help me move slab to best position to start finishing process, her suggestion was move it to Sth Coast & make your mess down there

    Default finish

This second coat drying, pretty happy followed clawhammers instructions to the letter. Theres some dark bits in the whirls,& some cloudy bits that no amount of sanding will get. They are almost like a bit of carbonization All natural so fine with me. 1st coat soaked in quickly left it 24 hours .I think Im going to need 5 coats easy

You will be able to spend hours when finsihed, reliving the past 3 weeks of the job.
Don't rest on your laurels, now that you've got the groove going,. do the rest of the house.
    Looks great

Not sure what you're indicating in the photo, it just looks like natural colour variations in the timber.

    Default Annoying bit

That last photo doesnt show it & I think its 2 different things anywayIts like something melted on timber, its on top side of fill feature so your eye is drawn to itI got all other resin bits off no problem so its not resin. Its only over a 10cm area but its over a bit of fiddleback grain that swirls around filled hole. Until I got 1st coat on it wasnt obvious, went back sanded thru the grades but Im just creating a hollow It looked better but when I put next coat on still looks. Its only 2 coats I will sand it back again, then.... very sharp blade + acetone & try to scrape it.
