    Nice work,

    What finish did you use?
When making the table top, how did you prepare the edges for gluing, ie after ripping the timber with the panel saw, did plane the edges with the C3 31?
For the table top, did you use a biscuit cutter, Domino or some dowelling device?

    sprayed single pack (satin).

Festool TS75 with 3m guide rail, Then a light pass with a spiral up-cut bit using a straight edge as a guide, then through the thicknesser.

I have both a biscuit cutter and a Domino, I did not use either just clamped edge to edge. (Frontline clamps help)

    Hope that answers some questions.

I thought the colour didnt look right for Wenge either, stock here in the UK is almost black. The table must weigh a ton as well.

Looks a lovely job and should last a lifetime and the wood will be worth a fortune in 100 years time.

Luverly table. For a table that size and with what looks like narrow aprons, did you use just a M&T joint or did you use some sort of reinforcement?
Try to look unimportant, they may be low on ammo.

Mortice and Tenon joints with corner blocks, I put a 45 chamfer on the inside top of each leg, then glue a corner block on.

I just realised I never updated this with some photos of the chairs.

    I'll get on that task.

I really like it, 300mm wide is more than enough and the 240mm height is really handy my friend has a 500mm+ wide thicknesser yet it only has a height of 200mm.

I'm thinking about changing over to a Felder CF741.
