Taper Jig Issues
Hello Everyone, I have purchased a Taper Jig, aluminium from Carbatec.
I find thatit is impossible to keep the timber against the jig, the saw blade pulls the workpiece straight every time. I don't like the jig, anyone have plans for something that will work on a sliding table saw.
Many thanks.

A while ago I picked up a bunch of hold down clamps on ebay, I whipped this up pretty quick and it works well. Theres not much to it, I am sure the design can be improved further.
I wanted something a little wider than the basic ones you can buy mainly to keep my hands away from anything that can hurt me.
Initially I was thinking of using it on the tablesaw but I prefer cutting tapers on the bandsaw and finishing off with a handplane.

Taper jigs
Thankupu for that. Yes, I think the aluminium junk is destined for the tip. But I saw it and thought it would help. I was wrong. Thanks again.
Thinking about my job, I think I will make a router jig.
Thanks again.
