Tired before you start
Sometimes you look at your next project and get tired before you even start.
Old mate Malcolm Ward dropped this little bundle off at my workshop this morning. About 2 tons of Blackbutt. Some of the slabs are 75- 80mm thick,800wide and 3m long. To be made into chunky bookshelf, cabinet, and seats. Not much room left in my little workshop, just as well I'm skinny

With a little rearranging you would get a bench seat/bed, coffee/drinks table & magazine stand. Then you're set for contemplation....

Claw Hama, I'm finding it tough to feel sorry for you, sitting here in an office doing a boring job and not having any time for woodwork for months now...

It's all good guys, it was just the shock of having that much timber dropped at once. A beer and a sleep and I'm all over it. I have actually just hired a shed at the end of my street (one of those storage joints) so will put some in there to give me back some space and then I can get stuck into it.
You're right Poppa, don't feel sorry for me, I love it, and wouldn't go back to my old managers job with the stress of 30 employees etc for quids (not even lots of quids).
I will post some pics of the projects once I get going.
