Routing holes for the front and rear rail mortices which will then be made square with a 10mm chisel.
Also routing a channel which will support the side rail with a fillet for any wood movement.

After the mortices have been made square a 3 degree angle has to be put inserted.I used a block with a 3 degree angle and proceeded to tap away till all were done

Next was to make the front and rear drawer rails.These would all be a different length and have twin stub tenons.I did the cuts on a bandsaw then fitted the with a router plane by hand.These were also on a 3 degree angle.2018-11-11 15.49.12.jpg

Next was to cut a 3 degree angle on one side of the side drawer rails and then use a plow plane to cut a 6mm rebate for the fillet to be inserted.
It only took 5 minutes each rail to do the rebate and wasn't to hard.

Hi just a comment.
It's more usual to dovetail or M&T the drawer rails into the front drawer dividers and then use a loose (unglued) tenon into the rear divider rail.
will be interesting to see how your construction comes together

How did the combination Plane hold up? any useful tips on your setup and technique??? ops got a bit excited I note that the plough plane hahahaha previous queries stand though?

I hope I can explain this properly.The front of the side drawer rail will be dominoed and glued into the front divider and the rear will have a loose domino
and a 3mm gap for expansion in the rear divider. Disregard some of the sizes this was a rough plan and has changed a bit.20181114_152419.jpg

Would of loved to have the combo plane but wasn't available when I got mine.

Absolutely love mine. I could of set up a router and made lots of noise and dust but love making shavings.
Great for doing drawers.Derek has all the answers on his page.
I am just starting out and am learning as I go along.

I got around to putting the drawer dividers and rails together yesterday.Used the smallest domino for the tenons.The rear tenon is floating and has a 4mm gap

Looking nice so far. Adding to my list of things to outright copy or at least steal some ideas from. Errr, I mean 'get inspiration from'.

Steal all you like with your eyes lol Doubt whether you can find to many original designs. If you need any help just ask always happy to share.
