The top has come up really well CH - natural edge looks great . It's a pity the client got you to cut off the natural on one side.
What finish did you use on this job and how long does it take to dry .
I've just become an optimist . Iv'e made a 25 year plan -oopps I've had a few birthdays - better make that a 20 year plan

    Hi Pete
Both sides have a natural edge, one faces up and the other down. It was stained with Black Japan and finished with 3 coats of Satin Floor Finish then rubbed back with 400 wet and dry and light oil. Then a final rub down with 0000 steel wool and oil.

I see that you are so organized. All your tools in one spot just like mine only mine are in a pile.

Oh Ray, I didn't get the offer soon enough, sounded very fair to me.
Christos, I only have a very small workshop for the size and amount of work I turn out.
I also get quite a few clients calling through so I have to keep things neet, organised and safe for visitors.
I also save a lot of time because I always (well almost) know where everything is. If you look at some of the other photos I also mark/name a lot of my boxes, draws etc, this tends to make you put materials, stock and smaller items back in the same place each time. The Fridge has BEER written on it

Ok, delivered! another very happy customer, she is sure she will get me more workcool, can always do with more work

Tomorrow its back to some messages I need to get done and my next artwork piece.

I would have thought once a beer come out of the fridge it would have stayed out, but then what do I know I am a tea teetotaller who does not even drink tea.

    Nice table looks great

Some people collect stamps - looks like saws are your weak point

You might need to build an end on holder so they take up less space ie a holder with fingers where the saws slot in between the fingers - can post a piccy if you like (of my very unimpressive collection)

    what's next?

I reckon it looked better on the lawn

CH hope that uneven bit in the middle is an optical illusion.

No problem CH any time just let us know.

Did you mean like these? I know the saw till belongs to Derek Cohen, and one of the others is labelled Dave Moore, but not sure about the rest (if they belong to you, let me know). The one with the two veritas dovetail saws is mine, although I have lots more saws...
    Cheers, Richard

I'd seen your's before as well as Derek's - both good

I don't own any saws in the class of those unfortunately

My solution is a bit different - I'll take a piccy later and post it

Thanks guys, I am going to add some more ply to the wall soon so I can get some more tools up out of other holes so I may change their mounting then.

    Default Saw rack

Here is my solution - you can tell I use them a lot (not)
I'd better give them another clean and some inox I think
It's made out of a bit of MDF - Ply would probably be a better option - but I used what I had at the time.
