    Oops, another clanger from me. Seems like Brass thread (26tpi) was used for UK and Oz light fittings, but they used 27tpi in USA.

    I did a trial run yesterday cutting 28 tpi thread for it and it works well. I just cut the threads a little deeper and it works like a bought one.
