    Default Four Position Carriage Stop

Hi Guys, Haven't been here for quite a while but thought this may interest some of you.My version of a Carriage Stop.
Great for setting up to do a number of repetition jobs like turning knobs.

Nicely executed Micheal. Certainly another way of skinning the cat.

I've often toyed with the idea of a multi position cross slide stop and with the recent acquisition of a tailstock turret, some sort of multiple position stop for the tailstock. Toying is as far as I've got.

    Bob.

Hi Bob sometimes the hercus 6 position stops turn up, I had to wait 10 years to find an orphaned one to go with the turret

Any chance of a few photos of the stop pulled apart. It would make a nice side project I think to make a rotary stop.I didn't think to look back at the old accessory pages before doing my version. Now I feel an aluminium revolver model coming on.
    Cheers from Micheal.
