Advise needed before Melbourne Show
Newbie to scrolling but itching to get started.
Been looking at getting a scroll saw to make some toys for the little one, mainly puzzles, animals and maybe even some ornaments and home wares I can put up on my Etsy page.
Got a budget of approx $1200 to get myself setup.
What would you recommend and why?
The Melb show is on this weekend, and I'm pretty sure I'll be picking one up there.
I know quite a few members have the carbatec 18 and are pleased with the performance.... but not many have the 21" Carbatec?
Or should I just read the reviews of the 21EX "General" as many said it's just a rebadge jobbie?

I started out with the 18" carbatec,& found it to be a very nice saw. Then I upgraded to the 21" EX & am extreamly happy with it ,It is a lovely saw & it also allows top feeding of the blades. From what I can see the only difference is the rebadged name .If I can be of any assistance be it where to purchase blades to techniques Etc please contact me. Hope to see some of your projects posted here soon. Cheers Peter.
