    Default AMERICAN WOLF

I'm sure you do not have wolves in Australia. This is another Charles Dearing pattern,

Nice. Well done. You must have a lot of patience. Far more than me. Phil

No wolves in Australia except at zoos...
You do very good eyes Paul, the expression on the wolf's face says I'm watching something DO NOT DISTURB....

That's good but he looks fluffed up by the wind in the winter.
They are a lot slimmer in fur for most of the year.
The greatest trick is to sneak up on them in a strong wind*

They have NO CLUE that I'm there, watching, maybe 50 yards away.
They have a 4-footed jump, called "pronking," for hitting voles in long grass.
Must admit, by their success, they seem to be eating very well!

    * ghillie camo, only move when they look the other way. 6" at a time.
Maybe 20 - 25 minutes from my house. The WX and daylight will dictate when we go.
I watch for 20 minutes then just slide back out the way I came in.
BTW, I have spare ghillie camo when you come to visit.

Then we come home, have a slurp, eat and repair the camo that got ripped up in the stalk.
