Wish I could tell you Stuka, I'd like some myself, I've only seen this stuff advertised in the US.

G'day, you could try Brims Wood Panels. I have used them in Melbourne but they also have an office in Brisbane.
Nice quality timber in numerous different veneers.

Funny thing was I'd been looking around for a while after moving to the other side of the city, then someone on here suggested I try Brim's... when I looked at the address, they were just the next street over from where I was living... well bugger me I thought

When you posted the links I had a similar moment, chastising myself for not looking harder.

Asking on here does have its advantages though... you're not just looking at an advertisement provided by that company to sell their wares, you get feedback from people that may have used that company and will tell you whether or not to use them or to avoid them if they aren't up to scratch.
Cheers

Good Morning
Thanks for the input
I have talked to Brims in Bris and they have 4.0mm and 8.0mm and their prices are going UP (funny how prices are the only thing that I know that isn't affected by gravity) 1/7/07.
I have also emailed www.boatcraft.com.au and their prices are a little better.
The reason that I wanted good qual was for B wooden clock making and was looking for 5 ply Finnish Birch in the thin sheets,(which is aircraft grade) or am I over doing whats necessary, is 3 ply marine grade suitable.
Australian wood panels and Mister Ply and Wood do not carry it any more.
!!!!!! I wish I didn't get these mad rushes of manure to the brain !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plywood
Thanks for the input.
A couple of weeks ago I inquired at the Hancock's Ipswich factory outlet for seconds ply re a 31mm sheet for making veranda brackets and asked if they had marine ply.
I ended up getting 3 shts 4.0mm, 1 x 7.0mm, 2 x 13.0mm and 12 x 10.0mm V groove panel wood at a price I thought was very good. The problems that made them seconds was so minor like 1 or 2 surface nicks or an edge ding. The marine grade labels were removed.
If your looking for ply give them a ring.
Cheers Geoff
