Bird Clock
This was the first cut with the new Carbatec branded Excalibur saw. Was a Christmas gift for my Grandmother.
Found the Plan on Steve Good's website, and enlarged it so that it would take a 50mm clock insert.
Cut from 19mm pine, using a #2 standard blade.

Another one well done Love the finish you that you achieved on the pine looks like a more expensive timber.

Thanks Pawoods - you are too kind. I grabbed a heap of cheap pine DAR boards (mainly for toy making and some house projects) when Masters was closing down. It was good to find a purpose for a small portion of it - and I too was very pleased with the outcome of the staining process.
