What I used those blades for....
As requested, some pics of my woodwork project that has kept me busy on an off for the past 2 weeks, in a cold shed high up in the Adelaide Hills amongst the mist wind and rain.
I've hoarded bits of timber(imagine that?) from old buildings being demolished over the years, with some parts of this stand originally being fitted as door trims in Uraidla in about 1850, making that about 170 years old. The rest is a guess at early 20th century.
The hardwood is from a plank of Purpleheart I inherited from being roped into clearing out a hoarders house in 2014, exotic hardwoods being one of the things the now deceased occupant liked collecting, but never used. Any of it. I ended up with it all.
Still a few hours work left on it, but at least it's (temporarily) in one piece for now.

An interesting piece of work there and using timber that would have probably offset electrical heating.
The person who never made a mistake never made anything
Cheers

Looks like you got the blades you needed and put them to go use.
Hopefully we get to see more of your work in the future utilising that timber you've collected.Dallas
