Bragging Again!!
Hi all! I was recently fortunate enough to be awarded the Trevor Peters Award for Excellence at the recent Bribie Island Woodies Annual Competition and Exhibition, with my entry "On The Prowl". Trevor Peters was the founder of the Bribie Woodies. He unfortunately passed away a couple of years ago and it was decided to award an annual prize in his memory. Trevor knew more about all aspects of woodworking than most of us will ever know.....a great man and I am honoured to have received this award. The winner is chosen by the judges from all the 1st place winners in each category.
This was a Jeff Zaffino pattern, so I hope it wasn't one that he got into trouble with copyrights I used Finnish Birch ply and used black velvet as the backing
For info, I'm the handsome fella on the left!!

Great work .... Sounds like quite a good system to award the best in show and a very nice touch linking it back to the founding member. You do know however the pack will be chasing you next year so you had better get cracking early!
