He isn't asking anyone to make a thousand of them so he could sell them in the market. So why can't we just relax a little bit?

OP, where are you? Did our enthusiasm get too much?
Some of us don't bite.
As a small interest, I had the scrollsaw out this arvo as part of a big dusting/vacuum. Been a while since I've used the poor thing!!!

I know little of copyright laws so I will stay out of that part of it. I did search for the pattern and the only place I found it sold as a scroll saw pattern was in this set of wall art patterns patterns: Scroll Saw Wall Art - "JESUS" Wall Cross Pattern Set
I do not think they originated the pattern, just the only place I was able to locate a source where it could be purchased..

Careful....it does have a copyright notation.(©) Did you get permission to copy it?
OOPs! responded after reading the original post. I see the copyright issue has been dealt with.Last edited by Cleokitty; 1st August 2018 at 02:09 PM. Reason: Didn't read whole thread!

I wrote to them, they advised they do indeed have the copyright and the intent of the OP is just fine. All is good.
Pattern S-8412SC is an original copyrighted pattern by Scroller which is a division of The Winfield Collection. See this link to the Website - Scroll Saw Patterns & Supplies
See this link to the copyrights on this pattern - Scroll Saw Patterns & Supplies

personally I cant see a problem making something you have seen online or having someone make one for you. I agree that there is a lot of IP theft going around these days but IP/Copyright laws are there to protect against reproduction profiteering and passing something off as your own work. Now if the order was for 1000, that would be a different story.....

I know this is a late post but if you are willing to supply material I would be more than happy to scroll this project not a lot of difficulty can be backed for strength and background painted whatever colour. There will be no cost to cut this if you supply material and postage. If you want I can send photos of some backed project's to give you a better idea of the finished work.
