Hare & Forbes 18in Scroll Saw
Hi Scrollers
I am new to Scrollsaws. I usually build boat modells and thinking about buying one. I read the forum, and it seems there is a common concensus on the Hagner being the best (if you have the $), and Hagner copies, e.g. Tru Pro ($850) and Carbatec ones ($650). There is also the HF 18 in one, which is less than $400. It seems, at least on the web, almost identical to the Carbatec one. Does anyone have an experience on these machines?
Cheers
Sam

Hi,
Plenty of good comments on this Forum about the Trupro and the similar (seems, from the pictures to be out of the same factory, different colours), Carbatec saw. The Hare and Forbes one I don't know, nor heard any comments, of. The picture of it seems to be a different saw to the other two.
Not sure that I've helped much!

Hi Bob
Thx for the reply!! I agree it does look different, so does the price?? I suppose it is one of those things that I have to make my own decision!!
