Help with safe timbers please.
Hi, new to scrolling. Is there safe ply to use? What do I need to know and look out for?

As long as you buy good quality ply, I don't think there is too much issue...sorry, can't be any more assistance....

What is safe? Safe for children? Non-toxic dust? Or do you want to build a shed an do you need to know what size wood is safe to use?
I assume for children... In that case I would never use ply for children who are young enough to put everything in their mouth. Ply are pieces of wood glued together, and I doubt that the glue is healthy. I would always use solid wood for toys, teethers etc. I would think every sort of wood is safe then, except for maybe some exotic species. However, I'm not an expert on that.
Finishing is important as well! As I understand is every brand of finish child-safe when cured if it is sold in the US. For myself I only use finishes which specify this on their product, just to be sure.
