How's this for a Scroll Sawn Sign ??
Although the photos are not real clear as the Sign was only a Temporary Set-up till I get round to finding the spare time and a friend to help hold it, so I can attach it to its destined permanent location on the shadecloth at the front of my house.
Length is 2.7 metres in total, ( 9ft. in the old imperial measurements. ) Cut in sections from 12mm. Exterior Ply, ( good quality 5 ply, which is assembled with waterproof adhesive ) All Lower case lettering, Designed in what is loosely termed, " Commercial Script," ( Modified to suit Scroll Saw cutting ). Average letter height;- 60mm.
It is my Artistic version of my Website addy, and before anyone says, " You can't put THAT here,- it's advertising," - I already have permission from the Moderator, - Ian, ( ), Robertson, to whom I emailed several copies of the below photos, and received the, " It's OK," to place on the Scrollers Forum, this morning.
Also by placing the photos here should give others incentive to have a go at thinking outside of the square with what one can do on a Scroll Saw with a bit of creative imagination,- something that I have already seen in Dave's Acrylic Figures.
