    Thumbs up

    Love them Peter!!

They would make great puzzles for little fingers as they are quite chunky.

Hi everyone this one brings up a big question for me.... What about the copyright on the image? Because its made in wood does that qualify as repurposing? I am interested because there are several designs I would like to do in the future but dont want to get into any trouble for breach of copyright

I'm not a lawyer but in the absence of one posting, here is my uneducated view: If you aren't selling or producing for distribution, you may be just fine. I believe there is a provision in many countries copyright laws that permit you to reproduce for personal use. This is what allows you to photocopy a page from a book. I have no idea if we have that provision here in Australia as I have never looked it up. However, if you reproduce something to sell or to give to others, even as a gift, then I believe, there is a copyright issue and you would need to contact the author/artist/creator and get permission.

Do what my son said to the Judge, "Your Honour, I didn't know I wasn't allowed to do that". Sometimes ignorance is Bliss.

Just letting you all know I purchased the licence to use the skunk image from VectorStock - Vector Art, Images, Graphics & Clipart. I use this site for a lot of my images, you can find the skunk image by typing in skunk in the search box.

    Hi all,

My darling wife Cathie wanted to make a Geelong Football Club (AFL) quilt using their logo and also a Melbourne Storm (NRL) quilt. I contacted both clubs and they told me that as long as we were not selling the quilt - it was OK to make using the logo. I did modify the design a little but pretty much the same as the original logo.

    Regards

    Keith
