Made this Ned Kelly project for my son for xmas.He collects anything to do with the bushranger so hope he enjoys this, the size of this one is 11" x 8",took the pattern off a drawing on the net,the origional drawing had the words Ned Kelly but I dropped the Kelly mainly for size. Cheers Peter.

Nice one Peter. Looks great.
You're sure knocking them out.
I like this technique of cutting out the shadows. Very effective.... Steve

Tell your son there was a piece in the news just the other day about Ned Kelly but more from the view of the police. There was a letter just before that.
How did you go about framing the piece? - nice job.

Clarence there is a thin piece of mdf behind Ned that I covered with a dark blue piece of material with that plastic blockout on the back ,I used spray on adhesive to glue it to the mdf.The frame is shop bought .I also had to build up the rear of the frame to deal with the extra depth.Cheers Peter
