    Default Practice

Been practising with my scrollsaw today as it was quite and had a go at this little angel it is 3 1/2" tall and 2 1/4" wide made out of 1/8" thick ply. I have now got use to turning corners but still need more practice. Normally any scroll work I make is to add it to money boxes or for toy making

I am still having problems with the blade clamps and thinking of getting Scroll Saw Blade Conversion Kit, Woodworks Craft Supplies hopefully will improve the changing of the blade especially when doing pierced work.

Anyone had any experience of it.

    Default Blade clamp

Hello Derek I got a replacment blade clamp to fit my sip scrollsaw it had the ones you have on yours I got mine here Scroll Saw Retrofit Items they are very similar to the ones you was looking at from Olsen it worked a treat but I still had problems with the bottom clamp I tried all the suggestions from other people such has the handle on the clamp cutting the clamp etc they worked for a while but the treads on the bolts just kept stripping so I invested in a second hand delta with the quickset clamps top and bottom I know how frustrating them clamps are its a shame because the saws are pretty good it's the clamping system that lets them down

Thanks Bob for your views on the clamp. I agree it is the clamps that let them down. Where did you get your Delta
