So, my experience with the Ryobi 120$ jobbie that I had to return and then get refunded when they both exhibited the same symptom of racing/pulsing in the middle of a job (detailed in my clock thread) took me to Carbatec today where I decided to bite the bullet and go for the thousand dollar unit which boasts the angle adjustment on the head, the shorter arm action and only painless blades etc. But in the end I saw it as an important tool to invest in for making my gears/wheels and pinions.
I’m also keen to make puzzles and other amusements for family and friends as I’ve found I thoroughly enjoy scrolling and am quit hooked on it!
I’ll make sure I post some pics as I get up and running.
So much looking forward to the better caliber of machine!

I would be interested in your feedback when you start doing some work with it. I have looked at that model for our men shed and it looks the same as my Excalibur scroll saw. Just a big $$$ different in price.

You say it only take pin less blades?

Congratulations on your new scroll saw. I got my scroll saw have only done about 2 hours on it before we packed and moved interstate looking forward to unpacking and playing around.

Congratulations on your new saw. I've had an Excalibur and now Seyco which are very similar saws. Both are great saws. I am sure you will not be disappointed.
