    Default Retractable Scroll Saw Table

Hi All I am not sure if this is the right spot for this post if not feel free to move it.
I have just built a mobile retractable base for my scroll saw table
My work shop is very small there is not much room with all my tools so most things are on a mobile base and the scroll saw is now the same.
I had a few design problems with it the fact being, that the wheels base is smaller than the outside diameter of the table, to overcome this I put in two adjustable stabilising rods that are loosened when you wish to retract the wheels the lifting device is a car jack that has a scissors action so when you wind it up because the jack is attached to the table the base with wheels on moves up and down off the floor see attached pictures.
Please feel free to copy and inprove my idea if you do let us know so I can inprove mine

I forgot to mention the extra weight and the low centre of gravity it seems to remove a lot more of the vibration although I would like to get a second opinion on this fact by someone with more experience than I on the scroll saw

Colbra, thanks very much for these pics.
I'm between sheds now because, being old, we move when our second son moves!
I'm hoping to set up in a tiny shed during the Winter and your idea will be very helpful.
Would you mind telling me, please, what height is the table when fully raised?
    Thanks, mate.

Hi Old Farmer from memory it’s about 100mm or 4 inches fully retracted and extended to the floor, I not sure I only have it about 13mm or half an inch just so I can push it around the concrete floor.
I am at Port Stephens at the moment and will be back home in about 2 weeks as soon as I get home, I will take some better pictures along with more detailed measurements and send them to you

That's very kind, Colbra. Thanks. No rush.
What I should have asked is: at what height do you work with the saw, please?
