Helen & Owen Harris are a great source for blades and information on scroll sawing. It sounds like you are using a Proxxon router is that right??
When I stack cut picture jigsaw puzzles, and I have done many, I cut 4 at a time and depending who the target user will be I use from #3 to #7(for kids) Pegas Super Skip blades as they will not tear the picture like a reverse tooth can.

Thanks for yr. message Russel. I actually use a Proxon DHS scroll saw. Taking your advice I am ordering Pegas Super Skip blades as you suggested. What is the best way to clamp the mdf sheets? Bill ( billspin)

Bill ,I use the green masking tape & wrap it around all edges of the stack.I works for me,but I have also used double sided tape or you can use small nails in each corner out of the way of the pattern.You can find a lot of useful information on scrollsawvillage.com where I am a member.you will find these people very knowledgable & helpful. As pawoods (Peter) has already suggested, use painters tape to secure the stack. I usually wrap the blue tape diagonally across the stack , like wrapping a present, and that holds it very secure. Just a tip, when using the tape make sure it starts and finishes on top of your work otherwise it could catch and stick the the saw table.
