Scrollsaw tensioning
Hi
I have a Ryobi RSW1240G scrollsaw. The tension handle keeps unwinding (loosening) during use. I have fixed it with a DIY rubberband temporary method. Is there a better solution ?
Any advice gratefully received. Tassiebill

As no-one else has had a shot I'll put in my 2c. worth. Looking at a picture of the saw it seems that the knob is very close to the base of the light. Could you grip the knob, horizontally, with a spring clamp in such a way that the clamp resting against the light base would prevent the knob from turning? A bit Mickey Duck maybe, but if it works......Jen

Thanks Jen
This may be the second response you get...I'm not used to the site yet. I've managed to utilise the light-base as you suggested. A double-twisted rubber-band completes the securing. Slight inconvenience when starting an internal cut . 'Should patent this solution ! Thanks Tassiebill
