sorry but as before they are copyright plans so you will have to buy them.
Why can't you order and pay for them? You can write to the forum so you can write to the company where you saw the plans

They list this pattern in the October 1997 issue of Creative Woodworks and Crafts. You can order a back issue here:
Creative Woodworks & Crafts 1997 Back Issues
It's U.S $7.49 plus $8.00 international shipping. That's not a bad price considering you get about 20 extra patterns in this magazine.

The shipping costs from wildwood are ridicolously expensive I have written to them about it and they wont budge on the price. There is no reason at all for them to charge what they charge as I have also been in contact with the US postal service and also with our own post they both confirmed that they are over charging the people. Unfortunately this sort of crap does happen but its sad to see though especially from a company as well known as they are.
I had no choice but to purchase from them as many of the designs I couldn't find else where and believe me I paid a hefty price for delivery. As for copyright I'm not really sure about that, the plans I received are not their designs and some of the plans they are advertising for sale are out of a book called advanced scroll clocks so if there is a copyright I think they would be in breach themslves.but each to their own I think.
But getting back to their plans you should know that not all are good for example the bird cage plan. After getting it scanned professionally I imported the drawings in autocad, well guess what nothing fitted together, the angles were out the measurements were all over the place and the best thing was there was no door in the cage. I couldn't believe it. So I wrote a review on it on their website three times which was never published, yet they have a review section. They should say if you have only positive favourable comments about our products please leave a review. Anyway I'm still trying to figure out how to get the bird in the cage lol.

That's sad to hear that you had pieces that didn't fit together. Are you sure this wasn't an error when scanning? Can you check with the original pattern?
As for not being able to leave a negative review, I know what that's like. I have had that happen with several other companies that have Facebook pages. You post a negative comment and it gets deleted literally within a minute. Meanwhile you ask a question about their product and you are lucky if it gets answered at all.
As for the copyright issue. Just because a pattern is in a book doesn't mean Wildwood isn't allowed to sell it. Whoever is the designer of said pattern can decide to sell it through as many different sources as they want. It's very unlikely that a big company like Wildwood would be selling somebody else's patterns without permission.

I suppose you are right regarding the copyright but yes I did go over the originals as well the whole plan is just out of whack and will take a lot of improvising to get it to work. I think if I did decide to go ahead with it I could call the design my own after all there would be a lot of changes to fix their muck up.
