Therapy
Been away for a little while, working on finishing up my basement. Not much time spent in the shop. I did get this one done the other evening. I decided to do this pattern as therapy. I have had a fear of snakes since I was a little kid. I thought doing this would help me get over some of that fear. I don't think it worked!!
This is a Rattle snake. Pretty common in lots of the US. Very poisonous, but they usually give you lots of warning and would rather get away from you than strike. They say to freeze if you walk up to one and the snake will normally back off and leave. I can't do that, but it is not a worry, even at 70 I am much faster that they are. I am long gone before they even can think of a strike!!
