Transformer - Bumblebee
It has been a while since my last post, but having seen Peter's recent Thor cutting, I thought i would share my own latest project. I had a request from a friend for a bumblebee piece for his nephew for Christmas. It is A4 in size and cut from 6mm marine plywood. I used a #3 skip tooth reverse blade for the larger cutouts, and #3/#5 spiral for the veining/line work. I love colouring my pieces - as I think it makes the image pop against the natural wood tones.
