I have just purchased a pre-loved Hegner scroll saw, but I am looking for some help to identify the model number or type.
The following details are supplied with hope that you may be able to help me:

Throat (blade to ftame) 25 " (635 mm)
The back frame has WH1200 in the casting.
Tension mechanism same as Multicut 1.
Bearing oil cups on both arms.
Table has standard slot; no circular insert.
Single speed AEG motor.
Tension spring same as Multicut 1 (Square zig - zag spring)
Hoping somebody in the group can assit.

A picture or two would be a big help as well Nifty.
Cheers, Ian"The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot.. it can't be done.
If you deal with the lowest bidder it is well to add something for the risk you run.
And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better"

Sorry Ian,
I forgot the old saying "A picture is worth a thousand words!"
Please find attached some pictures of the machine in question.
I've had to replace the bellows and added the knurled wheel on the upper blade clamp.

Hi,
I can't help with any answers but as you don't seem to have much in the way of help I wondered if you had thought to try another site. This one seems to mention Hegner a bit and posting there might bring some information

good luck.

Looks like it's a single speed 22" without the quick release arm.
There should be a plate on the side of the saw with the year of manufacture and some other data.
You can get more answers from the Advanced Machinery site.
