Glue for inlay work
Hi everybody, as the title suggests I am looking for a suitable glue for doing inlays, just to show how I'm doing it, I am using the V-carving method, attached some photos.
For the ones pictured, I used standard old Aquadhere interior, but in the past have used AV515 which is a polyurethane glue, very good but messy and difficult to store for more than a few weeks.
Am I correct that the exterior Aquadhere is stronger ? If so it may be enough, PVA is nice and easy to use and store.
The ones pictured were OK, but the cat one didn't stick properly around its ears, so I wouldn't use the interior PVA again.
Cheers.
