Glue invisible under lacquer
Is there a glue available which, if a bit smears or squeezes out, is invisible under nitrocellulose or precat lacquer.
It can be a temporary or a long-lasting bond - either would do the job.
Cheers

Hi Arron, you could use West system epoxy.
It is often used to fill large voids and can then be sprayed over.

True. It would do the job.
I'm still thinking that one through Mark.
I should have mentioned that I need very small quantities - but on an ongoing basis. I wonder what the smallest quantity of West System is that I could reliably mix up, and what the shelf life is for the rest of the product ?
Is there a pre-mix product that would do the job I wonder ?Apologies for unnoticed autocomplete errors.

Hi Arron,I believe the shelf-life of the West sytem would be measure in years and not months, especially when store in cool conditions.
The real advantage of it is that is can be used as an adhesive and filler.
The mix ratio is 5:1,you can use the system dispensing pumps, although not suitable for very small mix quantities.
For very small quantities I bought some medical syringes on ebay that allow very small batches to be mixed,as small as 0.6 ml.

Yes, I looked at the site - long shelf life.
I'm familiar with epoxy having built 3 boats with it. It's the best choice so far but I'm really wanting something I can just squeeze out of a tube.
I have experimented with CA but it leaves a dark patch - or at least the stuff I used did. Maybe there are other formulations that don't ? Can anyone comment on this ?
Cheers and thanks
