Default Glued joins in Bandsawn Box turn black when sanded!

I'm making Bandsawn Boxes out of Huon Pine and have been using Titebond Original or Aquadhere Interior. I glue them together and clamp for about a week. As soon as I sand them, the glued join is turning quite dark, almost black. I imagine it's from the heat? Can anyone recommend a glue that won't change colour on sanding please? It'd be ok on darker timbers, but doesn't look real flash on the lighter Huon Pine.

    Any suggestions greatly appreciate. Thanks!

Never worked with your beautiful woods but a white glue may solve your problem. Most White glues dry clear. Unless there is considerable stress, I see no reason white won't work. Back in the day... White was the "New, Improved" product and I have a number of projects made during the 60s that have all their parts still connected together, using White Glue...

Elmer hasn't always been considered School Glue.

White glue is Polyvinyl acetate (PVA or PVAc), also known as poly(ethenyl ethanoate), "wood glue," "white glue," "carpenter's glue," "school glue," and "PVA glue,"

CA Gel might be another good choice although I have limited experience with it. Don't know of longterm adhesion.
