Question Sanding Sealer & glue any conflict?

If I use sanding sealer on new pine (to help even out the subsequent stain application) can I apply it before assembly and glue-up? In other words, if sealer gets into a mortise or on a tenon before assembly & glue-up will it weaken the glue joint?

    Possibly

You could mask off the mortices and tenons with painters tape

Yes it will definitely. The glue works by bonding to the wood fibers and your sealer will coat those very fibers. Mask the glue surfaces as ian says.
