Sappy pine
I want to laminat some pine to make some bed posts, however some of the pine is dense, heavy and quite sappy
even though it is well seasoned.
My question is will this glue satisfactorily with good quality PVA??

We get lots of 20cm and 30cm shelving made as glue ups of salvage wood 25mm x 50mm. I know some is pine and done with PVA, looks and works OK.
You say yours is really sappy. Droplets or real pitch pockets? PP is firewood.
That resin will continue to sweat out of the resin ducts in the wood for ages and ages.
I'd be looking for some other wood.
