    Default CARBI-TOOL 3D ROUTER

I have just been on a "tour" in the land of the internet, you know how it works-click here end up there then round and round.....You get the message.
A question came to mind, as I was surfing, and that was has anyone got any experience with this Carving System? I have known it to have been around for years (20?). I have never seen or heard anyone report its use. As I said I was just wondering. Also any one got any idea of price? Carbi-Tool's cattle dog didn't show it
    Just do it!

    Kind regards Rod

    Hi,
    Check this thread out https://www.woodworkforums.com/f88/3d-carb-tool-router-carver-129596.
As my post says I like them. They have (or had) their own catalogue.
    Regards
    Hugh

    Hi Hugh
Thanks for the reply. Can you remember what you paid for your set? (a rough idea would be good) I am a little surprised that you don't see more of them about on finished work. I know you probably wouldn't use them on every job but I really can't remember seeing any body on this Forum using them.
    Just do it!

    Kind regards Rod

    Hi,
I got my original lot from the now de-funked Jasada in about 2008 and built up my collection.
I don't seem to have posted much showing any, but some can be seen on this piece https://www.woodworkforums.com/f40/ladys-table-124801
    Regards
    Hugh

Thanks for that Hugh. I do like the subtlety of the carving. Its there but not "in your face". I think that with the inclusion of any of the carvings adds a bit of interest to the whole job

Never seen them in person, but episode 1 of Stus Shed video podcast is a 15 minute discussion/demo of them. May be useful if like me you haven't seen them in use, or alternatively might be a crock for you, but the programme is out there somewhere.
I used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.
