CMT Sommerfeld Set - Jnr or Standard?
I am thinking about getting a Raised Panel set.
I am thinking CMT Sommerfeld but am unsure of whether i go for the junior set of the standard set.
Is the only difference the thiuckness of timber that you can use.
The Junior lets you use 11mm- 17.5mm thickness
The Standard seems to have just a minimun thickness of 18.
ATM i am leaning towards the junior set, cause it lets you do some thinner thickness material.
If you have either of these let us know what you think?
Thanks

I think you will find that the sizes of the profiles are different too. I have the larger set in cove profile.

CMT Sommerfield set
Paul
The Sommerfield raised panel sets come in two different sizes, a standard and junior, both sizes are complete with back cutter. The junior is available in two different profiles letting you make raised panel doors as small as 70mm square in material from 11mm to 17.5mm. The standard set is available also in 2 differend profiles, the panel cutter is approx 88mm in diameter and has two bearings to vary the depth of cut. Both the standard and junior are also available as individual cutters.
