    Default Combination panel bit

I've just purchased my first router and bought a kit of miscellaneous bits - mostly straight cut and some edge cutting types. So I'm familiar with the majority of them but will confess to being baffled by one called a "combination panel". Can anyone explain how it is used and for what purpose?

    Thanks in advance

Not sure what the bit looks like - the pack includes the names of the bits and shows the cutting profiles but that's it.

By a process of elimination I think it might be a straight bit with a pointed tip at the end??

Yes the straight bit with the point on. It's for trimming laminate and the pointy end can be plunged through the laminate. I think.
Those were the droids I was looking for.
