    Default Dedicated plunge router opinions?

    Hi all,

Looking to add a dedicated plunge router (have a table with a motor in it for that sort of work already).

Anyone got any suggestions for a good dedicated plunge router? Will only be used occasionally (probably most often used to route out the insides of pen boxes or solid box inserts) so I'd prefer to keep it cheap. Something which comes with a good fence (with an end stop if such a thing exists!) preferred.

    Cheers,

    Danny

I cheaped out and bought a ryobi (had to go to the big green shed anyway). I quite like most of my ryobi one+ gear, so hopefully the router isn't too bad...

Gave the ryobi a run today on some US walnut - seemed to cope OK!

Although I think I'll look at replacing the fence with a 3rd party router base if I end up using it more than occasionally.
